Hello!
My name is Darcy Alexander and I teach third grade. I teach my students math, reading, writing, science and social studies. Third grade is a big independent growth year. My students come to me fresh out of second grade and by the end of the year they are ready for the upper elementary big kid grades!
Why do I teach?
I am a born teacher. As early as I can remember I knew I wanted to be teacher. I grew up playing school with my younger cousins. (Younger cousins = I always got to be the teacher 
). Teaching was always plan A and it has proven to be very rewarding.
